Job Summary

Job Summary:

This position is located in Anadarko’s corporate office as a member of the Rockies Operations department. Position will support and advance development opportunities, data integration, quality control, and data administration initiatives across the department.


The successful candidate will have:
Minimum of 8 (eight) years of relevant work experience.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
An aptitude for solving technical problems, especially related to large data sets.
Proven experience with Oracle and MS SQL relational databases, including advanced script and stored procedure development.

Microsoft VBA and .NET development expertise including MS Excel 2013 application development and data parsing.
Must be a team player with good interpersonal skills and be customer focused.
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills with ability to collaborate with others from around the company.
Project Management experience.
Although not required, the ideal candidate may also possess knowledge or experience in the following areas

Experience working with Landmark EDM, PPDM, Aries, and Merak Peep data models.
Experience developing and supporting informatica data integration processes.
Knowledge of automation systems and their functionality.
Experience with production data management, production accounting, and oilfield measurement systems.
Working Knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry and field operations.


Work with asset teams and ITS to develop solutions and support and advance data integration and data quality initiatives to assist Operations. Primarily will work in the areas of well lifecycle, production, measurement, project management, HSE, regulatory, and drilling systems.
Provide technical analysis and support for cross-application interfaces.
Perform code review on modifications to data loaders and reports instrumental to streamlining operations processes.
Build and maintain a strong relationship with key users and service partners. Meet regularly with stakeholders. Maintain a professional human network across the various operational groups and IT departments to enable cross-functional analysis and problem resolution.
Model a strong work ethic and take the lead on a variety of support initiatives. Be flexible and willing to adapt to changing business requirements. Continuously learn technologies and apply technologies to user needs.

Educational Requirements:

8 or more Years Relevant Experience or 4 or more Years Relevant Experience plus a BS, BA degree in Science, IT, Engineering, or Mathematics.

Grade and salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
